We do not sell or rent personal information. The inquiry form on our Contact page prepares a message in your email application; nothing is sent until you review and send that email.

Please note: This policy describes our website practices. A client project may involve separate terms or data-handling arrangements.

Information we do not request

Please do not send sensitive personal information—such as financial account details, government identifiers, medical information, or passwords—through a website inquiry.

How we use information

We use information for ordinary business and website purposes, including to:

  • respond to questions and project inquiries;
  • prepare proposals, communicate about potential work, and provide requested services;
  • operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
  • understand site traffic and general usage patterns;
  • detect spam, abuse, fraud, or security threats;

Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies or similar technologies that support essential functions, security, performance, and aggregated traffic measurement. These tools may recognize a browser or device and record information such as pages viewed, visit timing, and general technical details.

WordPress, our hosting environment, analytics, performance, and security services may process limited technical information to deliver and protect the site. You can limit cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how certain website features work.

We currently use traffic statistics to understand broad site activity—not to build advertising profiles or sell visitor data.

How information may be shared

We may share information only when reasonably necessary with:

  • service providers that support website hosting, content management, analytics, security, performance, email, and professional operations;
  • professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, or legal advisers when appropriate;
  • authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security; and
  • a successor organization if the business or relevant assets are reorganized, sold, or transferred.

Service providers are permitted to process information for the services they provide and are expected to protect it appropriately.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations.

Retention periods vary by the nature of the information. Routine inquiries that do not become client relationships may be deleted when they are no longer useful. Security logs and aggregated analytics may be retained for operational and reporting purposes.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may ask us to provide, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to restrict or object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, or appeal a privacy-related decision.

To make a request, email ari@mach5webdesign.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and explain if an exception applies.

You can also manage cookies through your browser, use privacy or tracking-protection tools, and choose what information to include when contacting us.
